The Boost Small Grants programme is now open for 2025. Boost is for local community organisations across Scotland supporting children and families affected by poverty. The funding available is for projects who could be providing practical help, or organising activities and gatherings, or addressing another local need. Boost is managed by The Corra Foundation and is a partnership between Corra, the Appeal and Comic Relief.
Boost Small Grants will provide grants of £500-£3,000 to constituted groups and charities with an annual income of £50,000 or less. Unconstituted groups can apply for grants of between £250-£1,500. There is £400,000 available to distribute in 2025, and we anticipate making approximately 160 grants. Approximately 10% of the funding available will be made in grants to unconstituted groups.
This fund aims to:
- Provide an accessible funding opportunity for small community led organisations.
- Ensure supportive community led activities are available to children and families.
Boost will have three application rounds in 2025, with around one third of the grants made in each round.
Boost 2025 Rounds | Opening Date | Closing Date |
Round One | 25th Feb 2025 | 11th March 2025, noon |
Round Two | Late April | Around two weeks later |
Round Three | Early September | Around two weeks later |
Applications will be assessed in the order they are received. If all funds available in a round are spent when we reach your application, we will contact you about whether your application can be moved to the next round.
