Small grants available for community groups
Corra Foundation announces the Boost Fund reopens today, with grants available of up to £3,000 for constituted groups/charities and up to £1,500 for unconstituted groups. Boost is open to community organisations across Scotland who support local people affected by poverty or disadvantage.
Boost is delivered by Corra and is a partnership programme between the STV Children’s Appeal, Comic Relief, Foundation Scotland, Corra and supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Thanks to the generous support of our funding partners, a total of £750,000 is available until March 2026.
Carolyn Sawers, CEO of Corra, said:
“Small, accessible grants are so important to community groups. The Boost Fund has quick turnarounds on funding decisions and offers funding to more informal groups. It’s about boosting community-led efforts, ensuring that people with ideas for positive change are supported to take them into action. I’m so pleased that, thanks to new support from Foundation Scotland and players of People’s Postcode Lottery, that Boost can reopen even bigger and bolder than before.”
Natalie Wright, Head of STV Children’s Appeal, said:
“Community-led organisations play a critical role in tackling child poverty, delivering vital support to families most in need. Their deep ties to local communities enable them to respond with compassion, innovation, and real impact.
By working in partnership with Corra and other funders, we have a powerful opportunity to strengthen these efforts and help create lasting change in the lives of children and families in all parts of Scotland.”
