Celebrating the Dundee Cyclathon

This year, we celebrated another brilliant event organised by the Rotary Club of Claverhouse.

The Dundee Cyclathon entered its 19th in September 2023, and is an inclusive cycling event open to all different age ranges and cycling abilities.

The STV Children’s Appeal is the main beneficiary for the event, and we were delighted to hear that the Cyclathon had raised £8,778 for us this year.

A Civic Reception was held in the City Chambers, hosted by Lynne Short, Councillor for Culture, History and Sport, to congratulate the cyclists, sponsors and organisers of the event in achieving a result which exceeded last year’s fundraising figure .

STV Presenter Saul Sievwright who attended the reception said “ The Dundee Cyclathon is a brilliant opportunity to bring together groups, families and businesses across the city on their bikes to support important causes. The STV Children’s Appeal are delighted to have received the support of the Cyclathon for the fourth year running.  All funds raised will help children and families across Scotland affected by poverty”.

We’re grateful to the club for their continued support for the Appeal.
